Responsibilities
- Assist Journeyman Plumbers: Support senior technicians with residential and commercial pipe installations, repairs, and maintenance.
- Tool Management: Keep work areas clean, organized, and safe; maintain and inspect plumbing tools and equipment.
- Material Preparation: Measure, cut, and assemble piping systems and fixtures according to blueprints and specifications.
- Site Cleanup: Ensure job sites are left tidy and comply with all local safety codes and regulations.
- Customer Service: Interact professionally with clients, answer basic questions, and explain repair processes.
Qualifications
- Valid Driver’s License: Must have a clean driving record and reliable transportation.
- Physical Stamina: Ability to lift 50+ lbs, stand for long periods, and work in various weather conditions.
- Basic Math Skills: Comfortable with measurements and basic calculations for plumbing.
- Work Ethic: A willingness to learn, a strong work ethic, and attention to detail.
- High School Diploma: Or equivalent GED.
