Responsibilities
- Assist carpenters and tradespeople with material handling, site preparation, and cleanup
- Operate basic hand tools and power equipment safely and effectively
- Load/unload construction materials and maintain organized job sites
- Follow safety protocols and wear required PPE at all times
- Perform general labor tasks including digging, lifting, and debris removal
- Assist with concrete work, framing support, and finishing tasks
- Participate in daily team briefings and progress updates
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent (GED)
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds repeatedly and stand for extended periods
- Basic knowledge of construction tools and safety procedures
- Strong work ethic and punctuality with minimal supervision
- Physical stamina to work in outdoor conditions (heat, cold, rain)
- Willingness to submit to background check and drug screening
- Previous construction experience preferred but not required
