Responsibilities
- Assist senior plumbers and pipefitters with residential and commercial installations, repairs, and maintenance.
- Transport tools and materials to job sites and keep the work area clean and organized.
- Learn to read and interpret blueprints, diagrams, and technical manuals.
- Perform basic pipe cutting, threading, and soldering under supervision.
- Respond to emergency service calls and assist in diagnosing plumbing issues.
- Maintain accurate records of time worked and materials used.
- Ensure all work complies with local and state building codes.
Qualifications
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- Ability to lift at least 50 lbs and work in tight spaces or at heights.
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
- Strong problem-solving skills and basic math skills.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screening.
- High school diploma or GED preferred.
