Responsibilities
- Assist Journeyman Plumbers: Learn from experienced professionals while performing basic pipe fitting, installation, and repair tasks.
- Tool Maintenance: Keep work areas clean and organized, ensuring all tools are maintained and stored properly.
- Site Preparation: Help prepare job sites by moving materials, setting up scaffolding, and ensuring safety protocols are followed.
- Blueprint Reading: Begin training to read and interpret basic blueprints and technical schematics.
- Customer Service: Interact with clients professionally to ensure satisfaction with our service.
- Safety Compliance: Adhere to all OSHA safety regulations and company policies at all times.
Qualifications
- Physical Stamina: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs, stand for extended periods, and work in various weather conditions.
- Willingness to Learn: A strong desire to learn the trade and a positive attitude toward mentorship.
- Driver's License: Valid driver's license and a clean driving record are required for travel to job sites.
- Education: High School Diploma or GED preferred.
- Communication: Basic English language skills and the ability to follow verbal and written instructions.
- Background Check: Must pass a standard background check.
