Responsibilities
- Material Handling: Load, unload, and transport construction materials to and from job sites using forklifts, pallet jacks, and hand trucks.
- Site Preparation: Assist in preparing construction sites by clearing debris, digging trenches, and setting up scaffolding.
- Machinery Operation: Operate basic construction equipment and power tools under the supervision of skilled operators.
- Quality Control: Help ensure work meets quality standards by performing basic measurements and inspections.
- Cleanliness: Maintain a clean and safe job site by following all OSHA safety regulations and company protocols.
- Assistance: Perform general labor tasks as needed, including mixing concrete, cleaning forms, and assisting with concrete pouring.
Qualifications
- Physical Stamina: Ability to lift heavy objects (up to 50+ lbs) repeatedly and stand for extended periods in various weather conditions.
- Experience: Previous experience in construction or general labor is preferred but not required; training will be provided for the right candidates.
- Driver's License: Valid driver's license and a clean driving record are required.
- Safety Conscious: Familiarity with basic safety procedures and the ability to wear Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) at all times.
- Reliability: Dependable attendance and punctuality are essential for meeting project deadlines.
- Communication: Ability to communicate effectively with team members and site supervisors.
