Unlike many other industries, we do not require prior experience. We are looking for motivated individuals who are eager to learn and ready to work hard. We offer a structured apprenticeship program that will teach you the ins and outs of residential and commercial plumbing, setting you up for long-term success in the Texas energy sector.
What You Will Do:
- Assist Journeyman Plumbers with daily installations and repairs.
- Learn to use essential plumbing tools and equipment safely.
- Understand blueprints and piping layouts.
- Perform preventative maintenance and basic repairs.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment.
Responsibilities
- Assist senior technicians with residential and commercial pipe installations and repairs.
- Learn to identify and properly use hand and power tools, including pipe wrenches, soldering torches, and threaders.
- Read and interpret basic plumbing blueprints and schematics.
- Perform routine maintenance tasks such as unclogging drains, fixing leaks, and replacing fixtures.
- Ensure job sites are clean and safe, strictly following OSHA safety protocols.
- Transport materials and equipment between job sites as directed.
- Document work performed accurately for payroll and project tracking.
Qualifications
- No prior plumbing experience required; we provide the training.
- High school diploma or GED equivalent.
- Valid Texas Driverβs License and a clean driving record.
- Physical stamina to lift heavy objects (up to 50 lbs) and work in confined spaces or outdoors.
- Basic math skills for measuring lengths and calculating material needs.
- Strong work ethic, reliability, and a positive attitude.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screen.
