Responsibilities
- Install and Repair: Perform residential and commercial electrical installations, including wiring, lighting, and circuitry according to local and national codes.
- Inspections: Assist in preparing electrical systems for inspections by city and state inspectors, ensuring all documentation is accurate.
- Troubleshooting: Diagnose and repair electrical faults, faults in lighting systems, and malfunctioning outlets efficiently and safely.
- Maintenance: Conduct routine maintenance on electrical equipment and systems to ensure optimal performance and longevity.
- Client Communication: Interact professionally with clients, providing estimates and explaining technical details in a clear, customer-focused manner.
- Safety Compliance: Adhere strictly to OSHA safety standards and company protocols at all times to maintain a safe work environment.
- Tool Management: Maintain and organize company vehicles and toolkits, ensuring all equipment is in good working order.
Qualifications
- Licensure: Current and valid Journeyman or Master Electrician License in the state of Arizona.
- Experience: Minimum of 3-5 years of proven experience in residential and commercial electrical work.
- Knowledge: In-depth knowledge of the National Electrical Code (NEC) and Arizona state electrical regulations.
- Tools: Proficiency in using a wide range of electrical testing and hand tools.
- Driving: Valid Driver's License and a clean driving record (required for site visits).
- Physical Fitness: Ability to lift heavy materials (up to 50 lbs) and work in various weather conditions.
- Communication: Strong verbal communication skills and the ability to read blueprints and schematics.
