Responsibilities
- Assist journeyman plumbers with installation, repair, and maintenance of piping systems.
- Transport materials, tools, and equipment to and from job sites.
- Learn to operate hand and power tools under supervision.
- Perform basic measurements and cut pipe to size using saws.
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment.
- Read and interpret basic blueprints and schematics.
- Respond to service calls and emergency repairs as directed.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED (equivalent work experience considered).
- Valid Driver’s License and clean driving record.
- Basic mechanical aptitude and understanding of tools.
- Physical stamina to lift heavy materials and work in various weather conditions.
- Willingness to undergo a background check and drug screen.
- Strong work ethic and a desire to learn a skilled trade.
