Responsibilities
- Assist Senior Technicians: Shadow and support experienced plumbers during residential and commercial service calls and installations.
- Tool Management: Learn to properly use, clean, and maintain a wide range of plumbing tools and equipment.
- Site Preparation: Help prepare job sites by gathering materials, clearing debris, and ensuring a safe working environment.
- Customer Interaction: Project a professional image by greeting customers and answering basic inquiries.
- Basic Repairs: Under supervision, assist with leak detection, fixture installation, and pipe cutting.
- Waste Removal: Ensure all work areas are left clean and debris is properly disposed of after every job.
Qualifications
- Driver's License: Must possess a valid driver's license and reliable transportation to travel to job sites.
- Physical Requirements: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs, stand for long periods, and work in various weather conditions.
- Education: High School Diploma or GED preferred; trade school certification is a plus but not required.
- Communication: Strong verbal communication skills and the ability to work well within a team.
- Availability: Must be available for weekends and evenings to handle emergency calls.
- Attitude: A positive attitude, curiosity to learn, and a commitment to safety standards.
