Responsibilities
- Assist Senior Plumbers: Support licensed journeyman plumbers with installations, repairs, and maintenance of residential and commercial plumbing systems.
- Tool Management: Learn to properly handle, maintain, and utilize a wide variety of plumbing tools and equipment.
- Safety Compliance: Strictly adhere to all safety protocols, OSHA guidelines, and company procedures to ensure a safe work environment for yourself and others.
- Site Maintenance: Keep job sites clean, organized, and free of debris after every shift.
- Customer Interaction: Interact professionally with customers, answer basic inquiries, and provide excellent service while learning on the job.
- Material Handling: Assist in the transport, storage, and inventory of pipes, fittings, and fixtures.
Qualifications
- Valid Driver's License: Must have a current, valid driver's license and reliable transportation for travel to various job sites.
- Physical Stamina: Ability to perform physical labor, including lifting heavy objects (up to 50+ lbs), standing for extended periods, and working in various weather conditions.
- Basic Math Skills: Comfortable with basic measurements, fractions, and geometry for accurate cutting and fitting.
- Education: High school diploma or GED is preferred; equivalent experience will be considered.
- Work Ethic: Demonstrated reliability, punctuality, and a strong willingness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced environment.
- Communication: Ability to follow instructions clearly and communicate effectively with the team.
