Responsibilities
- Define and execute the technical vision and strategy for the Year 2026 Initiative, aligning with business goals.
- Lead the architecture and development of scalable, high-availability systems using modern cloud-native technologies.
- Oversee the full software development lifecycle (SDLC), ensuring code quality, security, and performance standards are met.
- Recruit, mentor, and retain top engineering talent, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and innovation.
- Manage technical debt, infrastructure modernization, and legacy system transitions.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product management and operations, to deliver high-impact features.
- Stay ahead of industry trends to ensure Year 2026 Solutions remains at the forefront of technological advancement.
Qualifications
- 10+ years of experience in software engineering, with at least 5 years in a senior leadership role (CTO, CIO, VP of Engineering).
- Proven track record of successfully scaling engineering teams and delivering complex, large-scale products.
- Expertise in modern programming languages (e.g., Go, Rust, Python) and cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure).
- Strong understanding of microservices architecture, containerization (Docker/Kubernetes), and DevOps practices.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to translate technical concepts to business leaders.
- Experience managing budgets, vendor relationships, and technical infrastructure projects.
