Responsibilities
- Assist carpenters and masons with material handling and site preparation
- Operate power tools (saws, drills, jackhammers) safely and efficiently
- Demolish structures and clear debris according to OSHA standards
- Mix concrete, mortar, and other construction materials
- Erect scaffolding and temporary safety barriers
- Read blueprints and follow verbal instructions from supervisors
- Maintain clean, organized work areas and tool inventory
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year construction/labor experience preferred
- OSHA 10-hour certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds repeatedly and work in all weather conditions
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
- Basic tool knowledge (hammers, levels, saws)
- Pass background check and pre-employment drug screening
- Strong work ethic and punctuality
- Team player with clear communication skills
