Responsibilities
- Prepare construction sites by clearing debris, setting up scaffolding, and unloading materials
- Operate hand/power tools including saws, drills, and jackhammers safely and efficiently
- Assist carpenters, masons, and other tradespeople with material handling and basic tasks
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment, adhering to OSHA safety standards
- Read and interpret basic blueprints and project specifications
- Perform heavy lifting, digging, and site preparation as required
- Complete daily progress reports and time tracking accurately
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year of construction or labor experience preferred
- Valid OSHA 10-hour construction certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds repeatedly and perform physically demanding tasks
- Reliable transportation to job sites across Baltimore County
- Basic knowledge of hand/power tools and construction materials
- Strong work ethic with punctuality and attendance focus
- Ability to work in all weather conditions and stand for extended periods
- Pass pre-employment drug screening and background check
