Responsibilities
- Execute construction tasks including excavation, concrete pouring, and structural framing
- Operate heavy machinery safely including forklifts, excavators, and power tools
- Adhere to OSHA safety protocols and maintain clean, organized job sites
- Assist skilled tradespeople with material handling and equipment setup
- Read blueprints and follow project specifications with precision
- Perform site preparation tasks including grading, trenching, and debris removal
- Collaborate with team members to meet project deadlines and quality standards
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year of construction labor experience preferred
- Valid OSHA 10-hour certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and work in extreme weather conditions
- Basic knowledge of construction tools and equipment operation
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety standards
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
- Ability to pass pre-employment background and drug screening
- Flexibility to work overtime and weekends as project demands require
