Responsibilities
- Site Preparation: Prepare construction sites by clearing, digging, and leveling areas in accordance with blueprints and safety guidelines.
- Material Handling: Load, unload, and transport building materials, tools, and equipment using forklifts, pallet jacks, and hand trucks.
- Assistance: Assist skilled tradespeople, including carpenters, electricians, and plumbers, with various tasks and setups.
- Site Cleanup: Maintain a clean and organized job site by removing debris, sweeping, and ensuring proper waste disposal.
- Tool Operation: Operate hand and power tools safely and efficiently under supervision.
- Safety Compliance: Adhere strictly to OSHA safety protocols and company policies to ensure a safe working environment for all.
Qualifications
- Education: High School Diploma or GED preferred.
- Experience: Previous construction experience is a plus, but we are willing to train motivated candidates.
- Physical Requirements: Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs frequently and stand, walk, and bend for extended periods.
- License: Valid Driver’s License and reliable transportation required.
- Availability: Ability to work full-time hours, including weekends and potential overtime.
- Attitude: Strong work ethic, reliability, and a positive attitude.
