Responsibilities
- Perform physical labor including excavation, demolition, material handling, and site preparation
- Operate hand/power tools (saws, drills, jackhammers) and heavy equipment (skid steers, forklifts)
- Follow blueprints and project specifications with precision and attention to detail
- Maintain clean, organized work sites and adhere to OSHA safety protocols
- Assist skilled tradespeople (carpenters, masons, electricians) in project execution
- Inspect materials and report defects or safety hazards immediately
- Complete daily progress reports and maintain equipment logs
Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years of commercial/residential construction experience
- OSHA 10-hour certification or willingness to obtain within 30 days
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and work in extreme weather conditions
- Valid driver's license and clean driving record
- Proficiency with power tools and construction equipment
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to follow verbal/written instructions
- Ability to work flexible hours including weekends and overtime
