Responsibilities
- Execute diverse construction tasks including excavation, material handling, and equipment operation
- Assist skilled tradespeople (carpenters, masons, welders) with precision work
- Maintain strict adherence to OSHA safety protocols and site cleanliness
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and project specifications
- Operate hand/power tools and heavy machinery (forklifts, excavators) safely
- Participate in site preparation, concrete pouring, and finishing work
- Collaborate with team to meet project timelines and quality standards
Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years construction/labor experience required
- OSHA 10-Hour certification or willingness to obtain
- Valid California driver's license with clean record
- Physical stamina to perform heavy lifting (up to 75 lbs) in outdoor conditions
- Basic blueprint reading and measurement skills
- Proficiency with hand tools (hammers, saws, levels) and power equipment
- Strong problem-solving abilities and teamwork mindset
- Flexibility to work overtime and weekends as needed
