Responsibilities
- Assist carpenters, masons, and equipment operators with material handling and site preparation
- Perform general cleanup, debris removal, and waste management at job sites
- Operate hand tools and light machinery safely (hammers, saws, drills, etc.)
- Read and interpret basic construction plans and verbal instructions
- Maintain strict adherence to OSHA safety protocols and company standards
- Support concrete pouring, framing, and finishing tasks as needed
- Assist with equipment maintenance and daily site inspections
Qualifications
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and perform physically demanding tasks
- Basic knowledge of construction tools and safety procedures
- Willingness to work outdoors in various weather conditions
- Strong work ethic and punctuality with consistent attendance
- Ability to follow detailed instructions and work independently
- OSHA 10-hour certification preferred (training provided if needed)
- Background check and drug screening required
