We are currently accepting applications for immediate openings on various commercial and residential projects throughout the Portland metro area.
Responsibilities
- Assist Tradespeople: Provide direct support to carpenters, electricians, and plumbers by preparing sites and handling materials.
- Site Preparation: Clear and prepare construction sites by removing debris, dirt, and obstacles.
- Material Handling: Load, unload, and organize construction materials, tools, and equipment using forklifts, pallet jacks, and hand trucks.
- General Labor: Perform basic carpentry tasks, digging, tamping, and setting forms as directed by supervisors.
- Site Cleanup: Maintain a clean and organized job site in compliance with OSHA safety regulations at all times.
- Tool Maintenance: Inspect, clean, and store tools and equipment properly to ensure longevity and safety.
Qualifications
- Physical Stamina: Ability to lift heavy objects (up to 50+ lbs) repeatedly and stand for extended periods in various weather conditions.
- Experience: Prior construction or landscaping experience is preferred but not required; we offer training for qualified candidates.
- Driver’s License: A valid Driver’s License and a clean driving record are required.
- Math Skills: Basic ability to read measurements and follow instructions.
- Safety Conscious: Demonstrated commitment to workplace safety and adherence to protocols.
- Communication: Ability to communicate effectively with team members and supervisors.
