Responsibilities
- Execute site preparation tasks including excavation, grading, and material handling
- Operate construction machinery (skid steers, forklifts) safely and efficiently
- Assist skilled tradespeople with framing, concrete pouring, and finishing
- Maintain strict adherence to OSHA safety protocols and project specifications
- Perform daily cleanup and waste management to ensure site safety
- Read and interpret blueprints to execute construction tasks accurately
- Manage inventory and request materials as needed for project continuity
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year construction/labor experience preferred
- OSHA 10-hour certification or willingness to obtain
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and perform physically demanding tasks
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
- Basic knowledge of power tools and construction equipment
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety standards
- Ability to work in all weather conditions and flexible schedule
- Pass pre-employment background check and drug screening
