Responsibilities
- Execute site preparation tasks including excavation, grading, and material handling
- Operate hand/power tools (saws, drills, jackhammers) and heavy equipment safely
- Assist carpenters, masons, and other trades with construction phases
- Maintain clean, organized job sites following OSHA protocols
- Read blueprints and interpret construction plans accurately
- Load/unload materials and ensure proper inventory management
- Perform quality checks and report maintenance needs promptly
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Valid driver's license with clean record
- Ability to lift 50+ lbs repeatedly and work in extreme weather
- OSHA 10-hour certification preferred (training provided)
- Strong mechanical aptitude and tool proficiency
- Flexible schedule availability (including weekends)
- Basic math skills for measurements and material calculations
- Drug-free workplace compliance mandatory
