About the Role: Be part of building Colorado's future! You'll support skilled trades on residential/commercial projects while gaining hands-on experience in construction fundamentals.
Responsibilities
- Perform general labor tasks including excavation, material handling, and site cleanup
- Operate hand/power tools safely (saws, drills, jackhammers)
- Assist carpenters, masons, and other trades with project tasks
- Follow OSHA safety protocols and maintain organized work areas
- Read blueprints and interpret technical instructions
- Transport materials using forklifts or heavy equipment (with certification)
- Complete daily equipment maintenance checks
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Minimum 1 year construction experience preferred
- OSHA 10-hour certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and work in extreme weather
- Valid Colorado driver's license
- Pass background check and drug screening
- Basic math skills for measurements and material calculations
