Responsibilities
- Prepare construction sites by clearing debris and setting up safety barriers
- Load/unload materials using forklifts, cranes, and manual techniques
- Operate power tools (saws, drills, jackhammers) under supervision
- Assist skilled tradesmen with concrete, plumbing, and electrical tasks
- Maintain clean, organized work areas and comply with OSHA standards
- Read blueprints and follow project specifications accurately
- Participate in daily safety briefings and site inspections
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- 1+ years construction or labor experience preferred
- OSHA 10-hour certification or willingness to obtain
- Ability to lift 50+ lbs and work in extreme weather conditions
- Basic knowledge of construction tools and materials
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
- Pass background check and drug screening
- Strong teamwork ethic and attention to detail
