Responsibilities
- Assist in building structures including demolition, excavation, and site preparation
- Load/unload construction materials and operate heavy machinery (forklifts, excavators)
- Read and interpret blueprints to ensure accurate implementation of plans
- Maintain clean and organized work areas following OSHA safety protocols
- Collaborate with skilled tradespeople to meet project deadlines
- Perform basic carpentry, masonry, and concrete finishing tasks
- Conduct daily equipment inspections and report maintenance needs
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year construction/labor experience preferred
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and perform physically demanding tasks
- Valid Florida driver's license with clean driving record
- OSHA 10 certification or willingness to obtain
- Basic knowledge of power tools and construction equipment
- Reliable transportation to job sites across Miami-Dade County
- Pass pre-employment background check and drug screening
- Strong teamwork ethic and punctuality
