Responsibilities
- Execute site preparation, excavation, and earthmoving tasks
- Assist carpenters and masons with material handling and layout
- Operate heavy machinery (bobcats, excavators) with proper safety protocols
- Install scaffolding, temporary structures, and safety barriers
- Maintain clean, organized job sites and proper waste disposal
- Adhere to OSHA safety standards and project specifications
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year construction labor experience required
- Valid OSHA 10 certification preferred
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and perform physically demanding tasks
- Basic hand/power tool proficiency (saws, drills, jackhammers)
- Reliable transportation to job sites within Houston metro area
