Responsibilities
- Execute excavation, concrete pouring, and framing operations with precision
- Operate heavy machinery including excavators, forklifts, and jackhammers safely
- Install and dismantle scaffolding, temporary structures, and safety barriers
- Assist skilled tradesmen with material handling and site preparation
- Conduct daily equipment checks and maintain clean work zones per OSHA standards
- Document progress and report site hazards to site supervisors
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to meet project deadlines
Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years of commercial construction experience
- OSHA 10-hour certification or willingness to obtain within 30 days
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
- Ability to lift 75+ pounds repeatedly and work in extreme weather
- Basic knowledge of power tools and construction machinery
- Pass pre-employment physical and drug screening
- Strong attention to safety protocols and detail-oriented mindset
- Flexibility to work weekends during critical project phases
