Responsibilities
- Prepare construction sites by moving materials, clearing debris, and setting up safety barriers
- Assist skilled tradespeople with tasks like concrete pouring, framing, and site excavation
- Operate hand/power tools and equipment safely under supervision
- Maintain clean, organized work areas and follow OSHA safety protocols
- Read blueprints and instructions to execute construction tasks accurately
- Load/unload materials and equipment at job sites
- Report hazards or equipment malfunctions to site supervisors immediately
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent (GED)
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and perform physically demanding tasks
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
- Pass pre-employment drug screening and background check
- Basic knowledge of construction tools and safety practices
- Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions
- Strong teamwork and communication skills
- Willingness to obtain OSHA 10 certification (training provided)
