Responsibilities
- Prepare construction sites by clearing debris, setting up scaffolding, and marking hazards
- Load/unload materials and operate heavy machinery (forklifts, excavators)
- Assist carpenters, masons, and other trades with project tasks
- Maintain site cleanliness and comply with OSHA safety standards
- Read blueprints and follow project specifications
- Perform concrete work, framing, and finishing tasks
- Complete daily progress reports and safety documentation
Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years of construction labor experience
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
- OSHA 10-hour certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and work in extreme weather
- Basic math skills for measurements and material calculations
- Strong attention to detail and safety compliance
- Ability to work flexible hours including overtime
- Pass background check and drug screening
