Responsibilities
- Execute site preparation tasks including excavation, grading, and material handling
- Assist carpenters and masons with layout measurements and structural installations
- Operate hand/power tools safely and maintain equipment functionality
- Adhere strictly to OSHA safety protocols and job site regulations
- Load/unload construction materials and maintain organized storage areas
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to meet project deadlines
- Document daily progress and report maintenance needs
Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years of commercial construction experience
- Valid OSHA 10-Hour Construction certification
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and perform physically demanding tasks
- Basic blueprint reading and measurement calculation skills
- Class B CDL preferred (or willingness to obtain within 30 days)
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality standards
- Pass pre-employment background check and drug screening
- Reliable transportation and punctual attendance record
