Responsibilities
- Execute physically demanding tasks including excavation, material handling, and site preparation
- Operate heavy machinery (excavators, bulldozers) and hand tools with precision
- Adhere strictly to OSHA safety protocols and maintain clean, organized work zones
- Collaborate with skilled tradespeople to ensure project timelines are met
- Inspect materials and equipment for compliance with quality standards
- Assist in blueprint interpretation and technical task execution
- Participate in daily safety briefings and toolbox meetings
Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years of hands-on construction experience
- Valid OSHA 30-hour certification or willingness to obtain
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and work in extreme weather conditions
- Class B CDL preferred or willingness to acquire within 60 days
- Proven track record of meeting productivity targets
- Basic blueprint reading and math proficiency
- Strong teamwork skills and reliability
- Pass pre-employment physical and drug screening
