Responsibilities
- Assist carpenters, masons, and other tradespeople with material handling and site preparation
- Operate hand/power tools safely and efficiently (saws, drills, levels, etc.)
- Perform physical labor including digging, lifting, carrying materials, and debris removal
- Maintain clean and organized job sites following OSHA safety standards
- Read blueprints and follow instructions from supervisors accurately
- Participate in scaffolding setup, demolition, and basic concrete work
- Complete daily equipment checks and report maintenance needs
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Minimum 1 year construction or related labor experience preferred
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds repeatedly and work in extreme weather conditions
- OSHA 10-Hour Construction certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Basic knowledge of power tools and construction materials
- Strong work ethic and punctuality with ability to work overtime as needed
- Pass pre-employment drug screening and background check
