Responsibilities
- Assist skilled tradespeople with site preparation, material handling, and equipment operation
- Perform excavation, demolition, and earth-moving tasks using hand/power tools
- Ensure strict compliance with OSHA safety protocols and site regulations
- Maintain clean, organized job sites and proper waste disposal procedures
- Read blueprints and follow verbal/written instructions from supervisors
- Operate light machinery (e.g., forklifts, jackhammers) with proper certification
- Assist in concrete pouring, framing, and finishing tasks
Qualifications
- Valid California Driver's License and reliable transportation
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and perform physically demanding tasks
- Pass pre-employment drug screening and background check
- OSHA 10-hour certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Basic knowledge of construction tools and materials
- Strong work ethic and punctuality
- Ability to work in all weather conditions
- Team-oriented with excellent communication skills
