Responsibilities
- Assist skilled tradespeople with construction tasks including material handling, site preparation, and cleanup
- Operate basic hand tools and equipment under supervision (hammers, shovels, saws, etc.)
- Load and unload construction materials safely and efficiently
- Maintain clean and organized job sites to ensure safety and compliance
- Follow all safety protocols and wear required personal protective equipment (PPE)
- Assist in erecting scaffolding, temporary structures, and traffic control measures
- Perform physical labor tasks including digging, lifting, and carrying materials
Qualifications
- No prior construction experience required – training provided
- Ability to perform physically demanding tasks in various weather conditions
- Strong work ethic and commitment to punctuality and reliability
- Ability to follow instructions and work effectively in a team environment
- Basic understanding of construction site safety practices
- Valid driver's license preferred but not mandatory
- Willingness to submit to pre-employment background check and drug screen
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds regularly
