Responsibilities
- Assist in site preparation including excavation, grading, and debris removal
- Load/unload construction materials and equipment safely
- Operate hand/power tools under supervision (hammers, saws, drills)
- Follow OSHA safety protocols and maintain clean work areas
- Support skilled tradesmen with material handling and basic construction tasks
- Read and interpret basic construction plans and instructions
- Perform physical labor in various weather conditions
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year construction labor experience preferred
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and perform repetitive motions
- OSHA 10-hour certification or willingness to obtain
- Strong work ethic and punctuality
- Basic math skills for material measurements
- Ability to work collaboratively in diverse teams
- Pass pre-employment background check and drug screen
