Responsibilities
- Assist with site preparation, excavation, and material handling using hand/power tools
- Operate heavy machinery (e.g., excavators, forklifts) with proper certification
- Follow blueprints and safety protocols for concrete pouring and framing
- Perform demolition and debris removal while maintaining OSHA compliance
- Collaborate with skilled tradesmen (electricians, plumbers) on integrated projects
- Inspect and maintain tools/equipment for optimal performance
Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years commercial/construction experience
- OSHA 30-hour certification or willingness to obtain
- Valid Louisiana driver's license and reliable transportation
- Ability to lift 50+ lbs and work in extreme weather conditions
- Basic knowledge of construction materials and methods
- Strong teamwork ethic and attention to detail
