Responsibilities
- Assist senior electricians with residential and commercial installations, repairs, and maintenance.
- Learn to read and interpret blueprints, wiring diagrams, and schematics.
- Perform basic electrical tasks such as stripping wire, pulling cable, and mounting fixtures.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe job site in strict compliance with OSHA regulations.
- Operate power tools and test equipment under direct supervision.
- Ensure all work meets local and national electrical codes (NEC).
- Communicate effectively with team members and clients regarding project progress.
Qualifications
- No prior experience required; however, a strong desire to learn and work hard is essential.
- High school diploma or GED preferred.
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
- Basic math skills for measurements and calculations.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in various weather conditions.
- Physical stamina to stand, climb, and work at heights for extended periods.
- Must pass a background check and drug screen.
