Responsibilities
- Execute diverse construction tasks including excavation, concrete pouring, material handling, and site preparation
- Operate hand/power tools and light machinery safely and efficiently
- Maintain job site cleanliness, safety standards, and organization
- Assist skilled tradespersons with carpentry, masonry, and installation work
- Read and interpret blueprints and technical specifications
- Participate in equipment maintenance and basic troubleshooting
- Adhere strictly to OSHA safety protocols and company policies
- Complete daily progress reports and documentation accurately
Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years of commercial/residential construction experience
- Valid OSHA 30-hour certification or willingness to obtain
- Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, and basic equipment
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and perform physically demanding tasks
- Strong understanding of construction safety standards
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Valid Indiana driver's license with clean record
- Ability to work in all weather conditions and flexible schedule
