Responsibilities
- Execute site preparation tasks including excavation, grading, and material handling
- Operate hand/power tools safely (saws, drills, jackhammers) and construction equipment
- Follow blueprints and supervisor instructions for precise construction activities
- Maintain clean, organized work areas and adhere to OSHA safety standards
- Assist skilled tradespeople (carpenters, masons, electricians) with material prep
- Perform heavy lifting (up to 50 lbs) and physically demanding outdoor tasks
- Document daily progress and report equipment/safety concerns promptly
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent (GED)
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
- Ability to pass pre-employment physical and drug screening
- Basic math skills for measurements and material calculations
- Willingness to work outdoors in all weather conditions
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety protocols
- Team player with clear communication skills
- Previous construction or labor experience preferred but not required
