Responsibilities
- Assist carpenters and masons with material handling and site preparation
- Operate hand/power tools safely and efficiently
- Maintain clean and organized job sites
- Follow OSHA safety protocols at all times
- Read and interpret basic blueprints and instructions
- Perform general construction tasks (excavation, demolition, concrete work)
- Transport materials using equipment like forklifts or wheelbarrows
- Report equipment malfunctions or safety hazards immediately
Qualifications
- Valid driver's license with clean record
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds repeatedly
- Willingness to work outdoors in all weather conditions
- Pass pre-employment drug screen and background check
- Basic math skills for measurements and material estimates
- Reliable transportation to job sites within Oklahoma City metro
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Construction experience a plus but not required
