Responsibilities
- Execute physically demanding tasks: excavation, material handling, and site preparation
- Operate hand/power tools and heavy equipment safely (excavators, forklifts)
- Assist skilled tradespeople with layout, framing, and finishing work
- Maintain clean, OSHA-compliant job sites and report safety hazards
- Read blueprints and follow verbal instructions from supervisors
- Load/unload materials and equipment efficiently
- Perform minor equipment maintenance and daily inspections
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent (GED)
- Minimum 1 year construction/labor experience preferred
- OSHA 10 certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Ability to lift 50+ lbs and work in extreme weather
- Valid driver's license with clean record
- Basic tool knowledge (hammers, saws, drills)
- Strong teamwork and communication skills
- Reliable transportation to job sites
