Responsibilities
- Execute site preparation, excavation, and material handling tasks safely and efficiently
- Operate hand/power tools and heavy machinery (e.g., jackhammers, saws, excavators)
- Assist carpenters, masons, and other trades with project-specific duties
- Adhere strictly to OSHA safety protocols and site-specific regulations
- Maintain clean, organized job sites and properly dispose of waste materials
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and construction plans
- Collaborate with team members to meet project deadlines and quality standards
Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years of construction or related labor experience
- OSHA 10-hour certification (or willingness to obtain within 30 days)
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and perform physically demanding tasks
- Basic knowledge of power tools and construction materials
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety compliance
- Flexibility to work in varying weather conditions and occasional overtime
- Must pass pre-employment background check and drug screening
