Responsibilities
- Perform heavy lifting, digging, and material handling at construction sites
- Operate hand/power tools and light machinery under supervision
- Assist skilled tradesmen in carpentry, masonry, and concrete work
- Maintain clean, organized work areas and adhere to OSHA safety standards
- Read and interpret basic blueprints and project instructions
- Assist in site preparation and cleanup operations
- Report equipment malfunctions or safety hazards immediately
Qualifications
- Valid California driver's license preferred
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and perform physically demanding tasks
- Basic knowledge of construction tools and safety protocols
- Reliable transportation to job sites across Los Angeles County
- Ability to work in various weather conditions and at heights
- Drug-free certification required (testing provided)
- Minimum 1 year construction experience preferred
- Must pass background check and physical examination
