Responsibilities
- Assist skilled tradespeople with material handling, site preparation, and equipment operation
- Perform physical tasks including excavation, debris removal, and concrete finishing
- Adhere strictly to OSHA safety protocols and maintain clean, organized work zones
- Read blueprints and follow instructions from supervisors to ensure precision
- Operate hand/power tools and machinery safely under guidance
- Collaborate with team members to meet project deadlines and quality standards
- Report equipment malfunctions or site hazards immediately
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year construction or labor experience preferred
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and perform physically demanding tasks
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
- OSHA 10-hour certification or willingness to obtain within 30 days
- Strong work ethic and punctuality with consistent attendance
- Basic knowledge of construction tools and materials
- Ability to work in varying weather conditions and outdoor environments
- Pass pre-employment background check and drug screening
