Responsibilities
- Perform heavy lifting, digging, and material handling on active construction sites
- Operate power tools including jackhammers, saws, and concrete mixers safely
- Assist skilled tradespeople with installation, demolition, and site preparation
- Maintain clean, organized work areas and adhere to strict safety protocols
- Read blueprints and follow precise construction plans and specifications
- Transport materials using wheelbarrows, hand trucks, and heavy equipment as needed
- Report equipment malfunctions and workplace hazards immediately to supervisors
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year of construction labor or related field experience preferred
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation required
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds repeatedly and work in extreme weather conditions
- OSHA 10-hour construction certification or willingness to obtain upon hire
- Strong mechanical aptitude and basic tool knowledge
- Excellent physical stamina and ability to stand/walk for 8+ hours
- Clear criminal background check and drug-free workplace compliance
