Responsibilities
- Assist carpenters, masons, and other tradespeople with material handling and site preparation
- Operate hand/power tools safely and efficiently (saws, drills, jackhammers)
- Load/un construction materials and equipment at job sites
- Maintain clean, organized work areas following OSHA standards
- Read blueprints and basic construction plans to execute tasks accurately
- Perform site cleanup, debris removal, and waste disposal
- Participate in daily safety briefings and toolbox meetings
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year construction/labor experience preferred
- OSHA 10-hour certification or willingness to obtain
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and perform physically demanding tasks
- Basic math skills for material measurements
- Strong work ethic and punctuality
- Pass pre-employment drug screening and background check
- Willingness to travel between Cleveland, OH and PA sites
