Responsibilities
- Perform physical tasks including digging, lifting, loading/unloading materials, and operating hand/power tools
- Assist skilled trades with site preparation, framing, concrete work, and finishing tasks
- Maintain clean and organized job sites per OSHA safety standards
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and project specifications
- Operate machinery like forklifts, excavators, and cement mixers after proper training
- Collaborate with supervisors and team members to meet project deadlines
Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years of hands-on construction experience
- OSHA 10-Hour Construction Safety Certification required
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and perform physically demanding tasks in extreme temperatures
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
- Basic math skills for material measurements and calculations
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to workplace safety
- Ability to pass pre-employment drug screening and background check
