Responsibilities
- Perform heavy lifting, digging, and material handling at construction sites
- Operate hand/power tools safely and efficiently
- Assist skilled tradesmen with site preparation and cleanup
- Follow OSHA safety protocols and maintain organized work areas
- Read and interpret basic construction plans and instructions
- Load/unload equipment and materials with proper technique
- Participate in daily team briefings and progress meetings
Qualifications
- Must be 18+ years old with reliable transportation
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds repeatedly and work in all weather
- Valid driver's license preferred but not required
- OSHA 10-hour certification (training provided)
- Basic math skills for measurements and material counts
- Willingness to submit to background/drug checks
- Strong work ethic and punctuality are mandatory
- Previous construction experience a plus but not essential
