Responsibilities
- Perform physical labor tasks including digging, lifting materials, and operating hand/power tools
- Assist skilled tradespeople in carpentry, masonry, and concrete work
- Ensure job sites remain clean, organized, and compliant with OSHA safety standards
- Read and interpret blueprints to execute construction plans accurately
- Operate light machinery such as cement mixers, saws, and drills safely
- Transport materials to designated areas using carts, dollies, or forklifts
- Participate in daily site briefings and team coordination meetings
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year of construction or related field experience
- Valid California Driver's License and reliable transportation
- OSHA 10-Hour Construction Safety Certification preferred
- Ability to lift up to 75 pounds and perform physically demanding tasks
- Basic knowledge of hand/power tools and construction materials
- Strong work ethic and punctuality with consistent attendance
- Ability to work in various weather conditions and outdoor environments
- Pass pre-employment background check and drug screening
