Responsibilities
- Execute physical construction tasks including material handling, site preparation, and equipment operation
- Maintain strict adherence to OSHA safety protocols and project specifications
- Operate power tools (saws, drills, jackhammers) and heavy machinery under supervision
- Assist skilled tradespeople with carpentry, masonry, and concrete work
- Perform site cleanup, debris removal, and hazardous waste disposal
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and work orders
- Collaborate with crew members to maintain efficient workflow and deadlines
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year construction labor experience or equivalent physical work background
- OSHA 10-hour certification or willingness to obtain within 30 days
- Ability to lift 75+ pounds and perform physically demanding tasks in all weather
- Valid driver's license with clean driving record
- Basic tool proficiency and equipment maintenance knowledge
- Strong communication skills and ability to follow complex instructions
- Flexibility to work early mornings, weekends, and overtime as needed
