Responsibilities
- Execute site preparation, excavation, and grading tasks using heavy equipment
- Construct concrete forms, foundations, and structural frameworks to specifications
- Install scaffolding, temporary structures, and safety barriers
- Operate power tools (saws, drills, jackhammers) and hand tools safely
- Assist skilled tradespeople with material handling and installation
- Perform daily site cleanup and waste management procedures
- Adhere to OSHA safety protocols and project timelines
Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years commercial construction experience
- Valid OSHA 10-hour construction certification required
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds repeatedly and work in extreme weather
- Proficiency with power tools and basic construction equipment
- Strong understanding of construction safety standards
- Reliable transportation and punctual work ethic
- Ability to pass pre-employment background check and drug screen
- Basic math skills for material estimation and measurements
